Fish and chips have been prepared and sold from this site since 1942 and quite possibly earlier than that still, but we have found records indicating that a Mr Williamson traded as a 'fried fishcaterer' throughout WWII. Since 2001 we have won several accolades including Weston Ambassador awards, voted Weston's best chippie by Star radio and runners up in 2011 Morrisons magazine best fish and chip shop nationwide.

Our cod and haddock is sourced from the NorwegianSea and the Barents Sea as frozen at sea fillets. They have been caught from SUSTAINABLY managed seas. We buy our fish LOCALLY too - all our specials are DORSET caught and arrive fresh every day!
After a career of over 20 years as an Executive Chef, heading the top kitchens within the Hilton Hotel Group, Andy Brown teamed up with the well established Somerford (Christchurch) fish and chip shopto produce Britain's favourite food to the very highest standard. The partnership has been so successful that a second shop has now been opened in Alder Road (Poole). Using the finest produce from sustainable stocks, we offer exceptional quality, freshly cooked, food.
