About the Business
Sandgate Friery is a family run business which has been built upon strong family values. Originally established as Scott's Fish and Chips back in 1998 by Mr Scott and his Family, the Fish and Chips shop soon became a much loved heart of the community. In October 2008 The Harding Family took over and continued to run the establishment with the intention of an extension to the building until December 2010. The Take-away still exists as a Traditional Fish and Chip Shop under a new name of Sandgate Friery on the side of the new main building that is now Foundry Thirty Four.
At Sandgate Friery we are committed to serving the finest fish and chips with an excellent customer service. We take great pride in sourcing the very best fish that we can, which is sustainable and from approved fishing grounds, to help limit our impact on the oceans. All of our products are carefully cooked by our chefs who take great care in producing high quality fish and chips time after time.
