Owner, Ben Squire, created The Boathouse Cafe, founded on a life-long passion for fishing. At the age of 21, with the help of a £1000 grant from The Princes Trust, Ben purchased a fishing boat andstarted a small business taking the first mackerel and deep sea fishing trips in Plymouth, Devon. Since then the business has flourished.
Delicious, fresh fish and chips have been prepared and served from our Waterloo Street shop since 1924. We take pride in serving you the tastiest fish and chips freshly cooked to order.
