We are situated on the corner of Hilderthorpe Rd and Bridge St. Opening in 2005 we have had excellent reviews from The Sunday Times and The Hull and East Riding Mail as well as winning the Seafishaward. We believe fresh fish should be served uncomplicated and speak for itself. We serve a wide range of seasonal fish and seafood as well as traditional fish and chips. We fry in traditional beef dripping and use a secret recipe to ensure the perfect crisp batter.
Our potatoes are farmed locally and we only use the best Maris Pipers available. Our chips are nice and crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside these are chipped larger to create ahealthier product for our customers. All our fish is sourced from sustainable managed fishing grounds. Our Haddock is mainly line caught which is a premium fish, it is all skinned and boned on the premises. Our Cod is sourced from sustainable seas in Iceland and also filleted on site.
At Stuart's we source from local top quality assured suppliers that we have built solid relationships with over 25 years. Our potatoes are grown especially for us by a local company W Lee & Co; theycan trace them back to the field they are grown in. Our flour is blended especially for us to our own specification in the Bradshaw's Mill at Driffield.
