Owner, Ben Squire, created The Boathouse Cafe, founded on a life-long passion for fishing. At the age of 21, with the help of a £1000 grant from The Princes Trust, Ben purchased a fishing boat andstarted a small business taking the first mackerel and deep sea fishing trips in Plymouth, Devon. Since then the business has flourished.

At Perillas, we have been proudly serving the people of Plymouth for a century. In that time, one thing that we have always maintained is that the quality of the food that we produce has to be firstclass. We have proudly maintained that tradition and will continue to do so.
